RHONJ Recap: Episode 8

There are no words to describe how happy I am that something interesting finally happened on RHONJ.  Let's first take a look at the beginning of the episode, shall we?

I paid half attention to this scene, mostly because I don't care what Juicy Joe is up to. It's great that he's doing work on their house, but shouldn't he be doing work for, um, other people? Ya know, so he can, hmmm, make money? Let's focus on Audriana's belly shirt instead.

Oh, and Tre's booty shorts. Really?
You know how much I can't stand listening to Lauren complain about her weight. All this talk about how she's not sure if she can commit to a diet means one thing: she's lazy. Sure, you can eat all of the liquid egg whites you'd like, but you aren't going to drop any weight by sitting on your ass.

Don't worry, daddy will get you a lap band.
If you follow her on Twitter (or me, just follow me, okay?) or if you've seen the magazine cover, you already know that instead of working out, she opted for the lap band procedure. I have no idea how that works, nor do I care. However, if she only wanted to lose 30 pounds, she could have done it with a little hard work.

Or Weight Watchers. Just fuckin join Weight Watchers!

Let's take a break and drool before we get down to the fight...

I want to start off by saying that I'm proud of Jacqueline for standing up for herself. She always seems like such a pushover and for once she commanded to be heard. With that said, I really question if Caroline just "showed up" or if Jacqueline told her she was confronting Teresa and asked her to stop by.

I'm not an expert, but I believe the difference between getting paid to do a magazine story and just ending up in one, is whether or not you are photographed by the magazine itself.

They if they want to take Teresa's picture, they have to pay her.
If they don't want to pay her directly, they can pay the paparazzi for the pictures of her.

So, when Teresa was interviewed about the possibility of Joe going to jail, they took pictures of her with all of her girls, and she was paid. This article?

Terrible pictures.
Looks like it's full of pictures that the magazine paid for, not that they took of Teresa on their own.

I can't believe I'm defending that crazy bitch, but I really do not think she was paid for that article. Think of how many false stories you see in the tabloids. Do you think the celebrity gets paid when US Weekly runs a story about them that isn't true? Nope.

Do I think that Teresa has said stuff to the press about the other girls, especially Melissa? Absolutely. Do I think she twists her stories all the time and doesn't accept responsibility for her actions? Absolutely.

Do I think Caroline looks like Chucky?

Caroline Manzo
Absolutely
But above all, I think these women need to accept that they all say shit about each other; sometimes it ends up in a magazine, and sometimes it doesn't.

What...are your thoughts?
