Homemade French Bread Pizza

This post is brought to you by my failed attempt at French onion soup the other night. I wouldn't even try it, but I had a loaf of French bread I didn't want to waste.

You will need:
A loaf of French bread (uh, duh)
Olive oil
Garlic
Pizza sauce
Mozz cheese
Toppings of your choice
Basil
Oregano

Pre-heat your oven to 350 and cut the bread to look like this:


Next, mix olive oil with garlic and brush onto the bread.

Put bread on cookie sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes to get crispy.

Take it out, add sauce, cheese, toppings, sprinkle with seasonings and put back in for another 8-10 minutes.

I didn't do this because I'm lazy, but you can broil it for 1-2 minutes to brown the cheese and make it "bubbly." Oh wait, I didn't do it because I don't like anything "bubbly," including people.


It's pure deliciousness. And easy. And has to be healthier than Stouffer's. Right? Who knows.
