Who is that, you ask?
Lindy D aka LinDUH aka Linda aka MY MOM. Yup, today it's my mom's
You guys, I think I earned the Worst Daughter Award when I was growing up. Shocking, right? Okay, not really. I was horrible to everyone. I still kind of am, but that's besides the point!
The point is that my mom put up with a lot - my entire family did, as a matter of fact. But despite everything, Linda always helped me whenever I needed it, no questions asked. Like the time I was 16 and drank a lot (a lot, a lot) of vodka, and called her for a ride. She found me on the front lawn of my friend's house, picked me up, put me in the car, and drove me home. She didn't even threaten to put me up for adoption, which is exactly what I plan on threatening my kids with if I ever have any.
Truth be told, Linda is the nicest person you'll ever meet in your entire life. So, I obviously take after my father. But in all seriousness (because sometimes I can be serious), I wish you could all meet her and find out for yourself just what I'm talking about.
Happy Birthday, Mom!
