About 6 months ago, I deleted Facebook off of my phone.
I didn't entirely delete my account, although I've thought about it and thought about it again. However, it links to my Tinder account, and I guess the devil is in the details, so to speak.
I deleted the app for many reasons- one being that I spent too much time aimlessly scrolling through status after status, reading about things I don't care about, about people I haven't seen in years, and never put my phone down thinking, "Wow, that was worth my time."
But in the last few weeks, I've become quite the Instagram stalker instead.
My favorite thing to do is to check out who I'm following and what pictures they have recently liked. It's how I found Jen Gotch, and more recently, it's how I found the above pictured collection of essays by various writers.
It covers life lessons that these folks have discovered and value and want to share.
It's a quick read- but a fantastic one at that. And the best part? It's free! Go to your iTunes store (or wherever you people with Androids go) download it, and enjoy!
One lesson I've learned? Instagram trolling > Facebook stalking, any damn day of the week.
